A 90-minute hands-on session at our Booragoon space. You make real shots on a Breville Barista Express, get immediate feedback, and walk out knowing what you're doing wrong (and how to fix it). Most people don't need another YouTube tutorial. They need someone watching them pull a shot.

By the end of 90 minutes you'll be able to:
- Pull consistent espresso shots (no more sour or bitter surprises)
- Steam café-quality microfoam
- Pour basic latte art (hearts and tulips)
- Troubleshoot when something tastes off
- Clean and maintain your machine properly
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to bring my own machine? Nope. We provide Breville Barista Express machines and our commercial setup.
What if I don't own a machine yet? Even better. Learn proper technique first, then buy with confidence.
How many people per session? Currently 4 max for public sessions, so you'll get hands-on time and personal feedback. Private group sessions max out at 6.
What will I actually be able to do after? Pull balanced espresso, steam proper microfoam, pour basic latte art, and troubleshoot when something's off.
What if my home machine is different from the Breville? The principles work on any machine. We teach the why so you can adapt to any setup. You'll also have a go on our commercial machine and see that the methods are very similar.
What if I can't make the date? Reschedule free with 24 hours notice.
What if I already know the basics? You'll still pick up plenty. We cover technique details most home baristas miss, like why weighing your dose matters, how extraction time changes with grind size, and the physics of milk texture.
